Love's Grand Ceremony

Total Global Disarmament

The vision

Peace begins with what we can change.

An Indigenous-led invitation to move from hoping for peace to creating and sustaining PEACE.

With ourselves

Disarmament/War's end

Name & honestly own what fear, war, conflict, and trauma have asked us to carry personally and intergenerationally. Lay down weapons; lay down personal defenses; lay down war. Choose a new way.

With each other

Forgiveness/Amnesty

Make room for your TRUE HEART, for grief, understanding, mutuality, forgiveness & reconciliation; caring relationships, rebuilding trust in households and communities.

With the Earth

New civilization

In our reconnection, let us embrace our responsibility for healing the damage we have caused to our beloved planet. Earth gives us everything!

The invitation

A shared day. Many local expressions.

This is a beginning. We are laying down WAR! This is not a claim that one day or one ceremony ends war. We do claim to launch war's end!

11/11/2026

Actions, ceremonies, festivities all over the world! Global broadcasts, songs of liberation, community & celebrating life! We are making Armistice real.

Gather, release, restore

The vision brings people together to acknowledge loss, lay down defenses, reconcile and celebrate.

A beginning, not an ending

The intention is a continuing network of local circles, shared learning and practical mutual support. Building a whole new civilization!

Why ceremony

From a distant ideal to a human act.

NAMEWhat has conflict and fear cost us?
RELEASEWhat is within our power to lay down?
RESTOREWhat can we repair, forgive, begin again?

Disarmament that never reaches the personal will never reach the global.

Keep the Minute

At 11:11 a.m. local time, stop for sixty seconds.

As the hour crosses the Earth, the silence moves with it: a wave circling the planet for twenty-four hours.

Hours after the first Minute, which begins at 21:11 UTC on 11/10/2026 in Kiritimati. Offsets reflect standard and daylight time in effect on 11/11/2026.

Ways to participate

Four doors into the movement.

Participation begins: gather and empower your family, community in heart's goodwill!

Keep the Minute

Pause for 60 seconds at 11:11 a.m. local time on 11/11/2026.

Make a pledge

Name what you lay down, what you take up, and how you will participate.

Share your voice

Everyone can share their story and be heard! Individuals or communities can make a short video to share locally to globally in solidarity.

Gather locally

Meet in your own community, with your own traditions food, songs, events, and identify your needs, wishes, visions and actions.

Respect Life & One Another

Local communities gather within their own land, lineage and heritage, following their own inspirations & guidance for how they embrace our new freedom.

Deep Honor

All action takes place in deepest respect for all life & coming from new found trust amongst peoples.

Beyond the day

Let the story & disarmament travel. Let communities lead.

All people, all communities are invited to plan their own disarmament, ceremonies, actions, activities for 11/11/26 and beyond. The first two films of Love's Grand Ceremony by the Four Grandmothers are templates of encouragement & inspiration.

THE FILM

Our films are the invitation for our whole human family to hold ceremonies locally all over the world! We invite local leaders to hold ceremonies for your family, land, and for Earth. We are also willing to travel and hold ceremonies with you!

GUIDANCE

Our Circle will provide suggestions and guidance for disarmament, ceremonies, and other community actions upon which to launch your own actions. We are also willing to travel to strengthen communities and hold ceremonies with you!
